Starter Service Kit

Updated March 2025 Municipal Services Desk

The Starter Service Kit is a single-point entry for residents who need to complete routine municipal paperwork without visiting the office multiple times. It bundles the most frequently requested services — property tax record lookup, certificate application drafts, and grievance registration — into one coordinated request.

When you submit the kit, the desk verifies your ward and property details against the municipal register, prepares the correct application forms for birth, death, or income certificates, and flags any missing documents before you submit. This removes the common back-and-forth where an application is returned because of an incomplete address or an outdated tax receipt.

The kit is designed for first-time applicants and for residents who are helping a family member file paperwork remotely. It does not replace the official submission process; it prepares everything so the final submission at the counter or online portal goes through cleanly. A confirmation note is sent once the file is ready, and the desk remains available by phone for clarifications during working hours.

What you receive is a prepared file with the correct forms, a checklist of supporting documents, and a short note on the expected processing time for each service. The kit is useful when you are unsure which certificate category applies to your situation or when the ward office has asked for a corrected application.

What residents say after using our services

Feedback from ward meetings, certificate counters, and the grievance desk.

We collect feedback after every panchayat session and service counter visit. These notes reflect what people actually experienced — the wait times, the forms, the follow-ups, and whether the problem got solved.

Ward 12 · Water supply

The revised morning schedule works better for our street. Earlier we had to store water by 5 AM, now the supply comes at 6 and lasts till 9. The helpline number they shared actually picked up when we reported a leak near the junction.

Charu Gola
Certificate counter · Birth certificate

Applied online on a Tuesday, got the certificate by Friday. The portal showed the status clearly, and I didn't have to visit the office twice. The only delay was the hospital discharge summary scan — my phone camera was the issue, not the system.

Veena Chacko
Grievance redressal · Streetlight repair

Logged a complaint about a flickering streetlight near the bus stop. The repair team came within two days and replaced the fixture. I received a text message when the work was marked complete. Simple and transparent.

Anjana Agarwal
Property tax · Payment guidance

The counter staff explained the rebate for paying before the end of the quarter. I paid online using the reference number from my previous receipt. The receipt was emailed immediately, and the records updated in the ward ledger by the next day.
